PD 301 Mood Boards

Project: Create a Set of Silverware

Tasked with making three mood boards, one using only silverware and two with whatever images we please, this was an immensely valuable experience. I did not succeed in this assignment and received mostly confused looks and silence in critique, but I learned a great amount.

I realize that apposed from my silverware board the other two were exercises still very much in action not completed mood boards. Neither of them represented cohesive directions in which I hoped to take my assignment, but rather ways in which I was processing where I hoped to take the project.

It was a shame to present something that the class and professor did not know how to respond to given I did not follow the assignment, this meant there was little valuable critique to receive.

These pieces will remain a highly influential part of this project, though I will now turn to to making true mood boards which I should have done in time for critique to receive helpful feedback on my direction.
